we introduced the brilliant little chap to lots of new things today. he’s wonderful off the leash; he adores nature; and, he learned that water is deep & wet! needless to say, i needed to rescue him!

he’s already accumulated a fair arsenal (thanks to amazon). these include: a bear, a dolly, a stuffed tree stump with three squeaky squirrels, and a tub full of various treats

la’s phenomenal tri

we just got home from pleasanton, where la decimated the local multi-sport competition. it was her first official tri, but she managed an incredible 6th place (female) in a field of 1000+! here’s a quick preview of the day…

hey, all: i’m ultra-sorry about the tardiness of this post. as you probably know, laura and i spent last weekend in yosemite with our co-interns. they’re an amazing group, and we compiled some sweet photos. it’s time, therefore, to upload! (work’s been nasty – thus the delay):

as most of you probably know, VideoLAN (aka ‘vlc’) is the greatest media app available. it’s free, open-source, and available for almost any platform conceivable. i’ve enjoyed it for years, but today is the official launch of version 1.0. get it here!
